"Carob syrup can be use in the same way as any other syrup, to pour over pancakes, ice cream and waffles etc. it has a distinctive, nutty, earthy, caramely flavor and is gluten free and high in iron and calcium. It can also be added to coffee and tea as a sweetener. On the island it is also used as a cough tincture."
Uporablja se ga podobno, kot med/javorjev/agavin sirup in podobna tekoča sladila.
